To match a transaction to an invoice, first navigate to the Accounting tab from the side menu, then under Accounts, select Transactions.
From here, select the transaction that you would like to match, which will bring up the options menu.
Select the Match option.
Please note that you can only use the match functionality if the transaction in question has not been previously matched.
The Match Transaction page will allow you to see all unpaid customer or vendor invoices (depending on the type of transaction). From there, you will be able to select the appropriate invoice(s) to apply this transaction against and generally categorize the remaining amount when applicable.
