How do I add sales tax?

Within our current platform you can add sales tax to your invoices in the Invoice Settings section.

First, click on Edit reminders/fees.

Select the button next to Enable sales tax.

After you have enabled sales tax, you can enter the desired percentage for your sales tax rate.

Be sure to press save to add the sales tax to your Autobooks Account/Invoices.

You can also add sales tax directly on your invoices.

When creating your invoice, first add your customer and line items for products and services. There is an option to turn on sales tax for each product/service line item.

Once you select turn on sales tax a screen will populate. On that screen you will have the option to:

• turn sales tax on
• enter the appropriate percentage and
• confirm your selection by saving the changes
